How do you get a colored contact lens more curved?

Query by Kitty: How do you get a colored contact lens far more curved?
I recently bought a make contact with (just for one eye, it's not for my eyesight) but I cannot set it on.
I can set in other coloured contacts although.
The speak to I are unable to place on is not quite curved or it really is genuinely soft.
When I set it one my finger, it isn't going to stay in a bowl shape. The middle kind molds onto my finger.
