Answer by Aaron WDrain the water heater. Shut off the electrical power to the water heater. Most have panels, unscrew the panels and depending on the product pull the heating coils out in accordance to directions on the panel. Change coils by way of the identical strategy. Put the panels back on and turn electic back on.
