Cold pieces of quid that flavor like marinated "jeung yu" (aka dried cuttlefish) was tender enough (i.e. was not like chewing rubber) but pedestrian. The salad topping the protein pieces consisted generally of properly cooked onions, rocket and a number of crushed grape tomatoes, serving as a light, refreshing and sweet compliment to the dish.
